Design Transformation for a Sustainable, Employee-Centric Future

Overview
A leading global financial services firm hired Vestian to consolidate two distinct entities into a unified 450,000 sq. ft. workplace at an SEZ campus in Thiruvananthapuram. The firm sought to create a space that would support evolving hybrid work models, enhance cross-functional collaboration, and optimize space utilization—all while authentically reflecting their brand identity and demonstrating their commitment to sustainability and operational efficiency.
Challenge
Solution
The project presented a complex set of challenges involving multiple stakeholders and coordination with over 50 prospective vendors. Each floor needed to accommodate different entity, each with distinct operational requirements, necessitating precise customization while maintaining cohesive integration across the entire facility. The LEED Platinum SEZ campus added layers of complexity, as the team navigated stringent sustainability standards and regulatory approval processes. Logistical challenges and adverse weather conditions also threatened to delay the project timelines.
Vestian streamlined material management and delivery. Close coordination with SEZ authorities ensured seamless regulatory approvals, while customized floors for the two entities addressed specific functional needs. Distinct zones such as the Customer Experience Zone, Global Command Centre, and Creative Design Centre were integrated to enhance business operations. Sustainability and wellness were prioritized with eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient systems, and amenities such as a gym, yoga zone, and jogging track. A 1,000 sq. ft. Miyawaki Forest was created at the campus, reinforcing the brand’s environmental commitment. Vestian delivered a modern, sustainable workspace that maximizes spatial efficiency, enhances collaboration and brings their brand to life.
