Overview

A South Korean e-commerce leader appointed Vestian to design its new back-end operations hub in Bengaluru, with a brief to translate digital speed into physical form. The project was completed in three months. The idea of the delivery box anchors the scheme, recurring through materiality, graphics and spatial composition, and the arrival sequence sets the tone: the company's rocket mascot, handcrafted in FRP on an illuminated podium, stands before a backlit vision statement.

Challenge

Solution

The brief asked for a global brand identity to be reconciled with agile infrastructure on a three-month programme. The client also set a mandate for superior audio quality across every collaborative environment, which meant acoustic performance had to be resolved in ceilings, partitions and surfaces simultaneously rather than treated as a finish applied at the end.

Vestian divided the floor plate into two zones, each with its own colour scheme: orange through the right wing in custom gradient carpets, blue through the left. The division aligns with fire compartments 1 and 2, so a compliance requirement does the work of intuitive wayfinding. Flexibility is built into the plan rather than added to it. A central cluster runs on sliding-folding partitions, letting three meeting rooms of 10 to 22 people reconfigure into a single forum, while the 52-seat training room opens onto the cafeteria to create a 200-seat all-hands venue with duplication screens and a dual-camera setup. A touch-interactive screen beside reception books agile seats and meeting rooms in real time and doubles as a help desk access point.
