Role Overview
As VP of Business Development, you will be responsible for driving new client acquisition and revenue growth for Vestian in the U.S. market. Your mandate will be to open doors, build trusted relationships with C-suite decision makers, and secure new mandates across Vestian’s service lines. You will collaborate with internal subject-matter experts to deliver integrated solutions, but your primary accountability will be generating pipeline, leading pursuits, and converting prospects into long-term clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive New Business: Identify, pursue, and win new client relationships across target industries and geographies.
- Build Pipeline: Develop and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities through direct outreach, networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
- Engage at the C-Suite: Lead conversations with CEOs, CFOs, COOs, and real estate heads, positioning Vestian as a trusted advisor.
- Lead Pursuits: Own the sales cycle — strategy, pitch development, presentations, negotiations, and closing.
- Collaborate on Solutions: Partner with service line leaders (Lease Administration, Transaction Management, Project Management, Workplace Strategy) to craft integrated offerings.
- Represent Vestian: Elevate brand presence by participating in industry associations, conferences, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Transition Accounts: Ensure smooth handoff of new accounts to delivery teams for long-term success.
- KPIs: Consistently meet or surpass revenue and account acquisition goals.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 7–10+ years of business development experience in commercial real estate or in B2B industries such as SaaS, consulting, outsourcing, or other professional services.
- Proven record of winning new accounts and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Ability to quickly learn and translate complex service offerings into clear client value.
- Established relationships with corporate decision makers a strong plus.
- Strong consultative sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close complex, multi-service deals.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with confidence engaging senior executives.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize pursuits, and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client engagement.
Compensation
We offer a competitive base salary in the $150K–$200K range, plus performance-based bonus. Total compensation is designed to reward new client acquisition and account wins. A comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and professional development, is also provided.
