Experience:
5 to 12 years of experience into commercial interior fit out background (Design & Build/IPC’s, General Contracting) would be preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution:
- Oversee the complete execution of MEP systems in industrial and commercial fit-out projects.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
- Coordination & Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage and coordinate different MEP disciplines, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and ELV systems.
- Conduct regular site meetings and progress reviews with stakeholders.
- Technical & Compliance Oversight:
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor installation quality, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Resource & Team Management:
- Lead and manage project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure efficient allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Provide technical guidance and training as required.
- Cost Control & Reporting:
- Track project costs and control expenses to prevent budget overruns.
- Prepare project status reports and documentation for senior management and clients.
- Identify and resolve any project-related issues promptly.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Education: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
- Experience: 10-12 years in MEP project management within commercial interior.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, and BIM (preferred).
- Certifications (Preferred): PMP, LEED, or MEP-related certifications.
- Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
