Senior-Led Facility Management for a Flagship Innovation Hub

Two challenges shaped the engagement. The campus sits within a technology park surrounded by other IT companies, which drives frequent front-line attrition as workers move between nearby sites. At the same time the R&D spaces require specialized soft services to avoid contamination, raising the skill bar and leaving little room for turnover-related disruption.

The engagement was deliberately weighted toward experienced leadership. Senior facility managers were deployed across all shifts to run mechanical and electrical operations and the laboratories, and dedicated senior soft services managers covered the offices, cafeteria and laboratories on every shift. As a value add, a full-time key account manager gave the client a single senior point of ownership for the whole relationship rather than a rotating contact. Because attrition was the structural risk, structured on-site engagement programs were built specifically to reduce it, bench strength was held at site so turnover never became a service gap, and staff were trained for contamination-sensitive areas.
